Moreover, he also covered the Boston Marathon Bombings and the Aaron Hernandez trial. Aside from this, Ockerbloom has covered several Patriots’ Super Bowls and Red Sox World Series. This is in addition to covering the victory parades that followed.
Prior to coming to WFXT Boston 25 News , he anchored evening sportscasts and co-hosted a nightly sports show at NECN. Before making a return home to New England, he worked at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City. There, he was made the Oklahoma Sportscaster of the Year. Mark began his television career working as a TV Sportscaster at WMUR-TV in Machester, New Hampshire. During his free time, he enjoys playing softball, golf, hockey, and fishing. Being an avid runner, he ran the 2002 Boston Marathon with his brother Carl which is a memory he cherishes to date.
