Before that, Wallace worked at WBKB-TV 11 in Alpena, Michigan as a chief meteorologist where he broadcasted the weekday evening newscasts from October 2010 to January 2012. During her time there, she won two Merit awards for best weathercast from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.
Before that, Wallace worked at WGHP Fox 8 in High Point, North Carolina as a meteorology intern where she assisted chief meteorologist Van Denton from May 2010 to August 2010. Throughout her career, she has reported on everything from blizzards, ice storms, and flooding to tornadoes. She is a certified Broadcast Meteorologist, the highest level of distinction that the American Meteorological Society awards.
