Prior to joining the station, Spooner worked at SWFL in Fort Myers, Florida starting as an evening news anchor in June 2014. She then became the morning anchor in August 2020. Before that, she hosted the nationally syndicated morning show called The Daily Buzz in Orlando, Florida from June 2012 to June 2014. While working there, Spooner interviewed some of the biggest Hollywood names including Jared Leto, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell, and Jennifer Connelly.
Prior to that, Spooner worked at WFTX FOX 4 in Cape Coral, Florida, United States as a morning news anchor from December 2010 to May 2012.
