Also, Thomas has been a member of the MABJ – Memphis Association of Black Journalists and the NABJ – National Association of Black Journalists. While in college, Thomas was active in the TAS – Television Arts Society. Thomas’s work as a journalist has earned her 2 Emmy nominations.
