Parks serves at WBTW-TV News 13 as a sports director and weekday evening sports anchor. He anchors the 6 PM, 10 PM, and 11 PM sportscasts. Football season keeps Parks especially busy – he covers South Carolina, Clemson, and Coastal Carolina. Also, Parks runs “The Blitz” every Friday night in the fall (this is a fast-paced 25-minute high school football show packed with highlights, reactions, and scores from across the Pee Dee, Grand Strand, and parts of North Carolina).

Before joining News13, Parks worked with the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Florida (it was from February to May 2017) as part of their gameday production crew. Parks handled camera work, assisted in production, and served as a public address announcer. From December of the year 2013 to January of the year 2017, Parks anchored weekend sports for ABC-7 in Fort Myers, Florida – also, he reported for both ABC-7 and NBC-2. Parks’s assignments there included Florida Gulf Coast University’s rise as “Dunk City”, Spring Training coverage for the Red Sox, Rays, and Twins, and professional golf tournaments.

Parks’s career roots trace back to May of the year 2006 – this was when he joined Fox Sports Pittsburgh as a production assistant intern.
