Dixon works at WDHNwhere he serves as a Weekend anchor/reporter.  While at the station, he Covered Dothan, Alabama, and all the surrounding counties in the Wiregrass. Before joining WDHN, Aaron served as a supply chain Expeditor at Autocar Trucks from May 2021 to August 2021. Prior to that, he was a News Photographer at KVLY-TV for nine months in Fargo, North Dakota. Where he covered breaking news and helped with morning newscasts.

Previously, he worked at Troy TrojanVision News serving as a News anchor/reporter for 2 years. Aaron also assisted with the Sports Information department at Troy, where he kept stats, cut game footage, and was in charge of covering different sports, such as the Troy Women’s Tennis. Moreover, he spent 2 years at Troy Athletics as a student worker. Additionally, Aaron served as an intern at Rick and Bubba Radio show for 4 months.

Prior to that, he served as an Orientation leader at IMPACT for 10 months. While there, he scheduled students for their upcoming semester of classes, gave them tours of the campus, and answered questions regarding their lifestyle change to college. From October 2017 to 2019, Dixon was a mover at Appalachian Universal Systems. Furthermore, he began his career at the Morning Overload Radio show as an intern for 1 year.

While there, Aaron shadowed Jon Walden who is a radio DJ in Birmingham and he really got to see what he wanted to do in his career. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family and friends and is a sports junkie, and loves to cheer on his teams.  Aaron loves his Troy Trojans but is also a big Florida State Seminole Fan. He is an alumnus of FarmHouse Fraternity and a member of the Greek honor society, Order of Omega, at Troy University.
