He obtained his first on-air experience in the year 1998 when he forecasted and anchored the weather on LSC-TV. Upon looking back on his career, he laughs at his green performance and cherishes the experience Lyndon was able to give him prior to achieving a degree.
He kick-started his career working for WBOY-TV as the Chief Meteorologist in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Later on, he landed a job with WSAZ-TV in Charleston-Huntington, West Virginia. While there, he received the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television as well as several awards for meteorology excellence. Later on, he joined WPVI-TV where he was working as a weekend Meteorologist in the month of April 2005. He also airs the weather news for Action News at 10 PM on PHL-17.
Asides from this, he contributes to countless station specials, which include the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Auto Show preview special, and The Flower Show preview special, to name a few. He also loves the balance of fulfilling a lifetime passion for the weather while dipping into the entertainment world.
Adam also fills in on ABC’s Good Morning America when needed and was voted Philadelphia’s Best Meteorologist by Philadelphia Magazine in the year 2009. He was also honored to accept the 40 under 40 award from the Philadelphia Business Journal for professional excellence and community involvement in the year 2011.
Joseph is committed to making a difference in the community and is involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society. Away from work, he enjoys running, swimming, weight lifting, spending time with family, biking, and making every day count.
Asides from this, he participated in his first triathlon in Richwood, West Virginia in the year 2001. He has since completed a total of 13 triathlons. The year 2013 saw him complete 7 triathlons, the final being a 70.3 half ironman in Bear Delaware. He states that was his goal for more than 12 years.
