He has reported live on Monument Hill in over a foot of snow and tracked severe summer storms and wildfires while at the station.
Prior to joining the station, he worked at KEYT NewsChannel 3 in Santa Barbara, California as a chief meteorologist from December 2005 to September 2019. While working at KEYT, Rose received the Golden Mike Award from the Radio & TV News Association of Southern California for Best TV Weather Segment in 2015. Before that, Rose worked at WCBI-TV in Columbus, Mississippi as a midday and fill-in meteorologist from November 2001 to June 2002.
