Pepper attended the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 1987 where she studied and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 1993. Pepper currently works at WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the role of a Sports Director. He joined the station in March 2007. He started as a weekend anchor and reporter and held the role for 8 years then was promoted to sports director. Prior to that, he worked at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. Every November, he holds an 18-hour Bell-ringing marathon during the holiday season in order to create awareness of the need for bell ringers of the Salvation Army. In addition to that, Pepper has served as the MC for the Walk to Defeat ALS, the West Michigan Congenital Heart Walk, and the annual Kalamazoo Epilepsy Summer Stroll.
