A weather memory that always stands out to him is his grandfather teaching him about what a bow echo was as they were taking cover from one. Additionally, he also traveled to Madrid, Spain his freshman year of college as part of an engineering program.
He traveled to several places such as Airbus Headquarters in Toulouse, France, and the Trillo nuclear power plant with a group of six others, and even took a few solo trips, all while not knowing Spanish. Moreover, Austin also serves as a shift lead at Buzzed Bull Creamery from May 2022. Before, Feig worked at St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department where he served as a Police Cadet from June 2019 to August 2020. Furthermore, he began working at Bi-State Development serving as a tour guide for 1 year.
