After two years in the desert, Ben shifted back to the Midwest and KAKE-TV in Wichita, KS, where he met his wife Nicole. Shortly, after they got married in 2010, Ben and his wife moved to Buffalo, NY where he served as a Sports Anchor at Your News Now Buffalo.
In 2011, they returned home, moving to Columbia so he could assist in launching the Mizzou Network with Mizzou Athletics. Over nine years Ben reported on Mizzou sports on different platforms, telling many stories of athletes and reporting on some of the biggest moments in Tiger history. In 2014, Ben commenced doing play-by-play for SEC Network Plus and he has visited more than 250 games in 7 different sports. He also hosted “This Week in Mizzou Football” and “This Week in Mizzou Basketball” on Fox Sports Midwest and KOMU from 2014 to 2018.
Ben was born at Boone Hospital, graduated from Hickman High School, got his degree, and began in TV at the University of Missouri. He grew up a giant fan of the Missouri Tigers, St. Louis Blues, and St. Louis Cardinals, but he has followed all of the sports teams in the Show Me State his entire life.
