Brian Tee born Jae-Beom Takata is a Japanese-American film and television actor well known for his appearance in the NBC medical drama Chicago Med portraying Dr. Ethan Choi. He also starred in several films including The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006, The Wolverine in 2013, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows in 2016.

It was announced in October 2022, that he would be leaving Chicago Med after 8 seasons.

Tee portrayed Katashi Hamada in the film Jurassic World which aired in . Katashi was a commander of Asset Containment Unit of InGen Security Division. Katashi and his team were told to stop the remaining Indominus rex of the Jurassic World who had escaped her paddock together with another team that was led by Austin. He looked up and saw drops of blood dripping from the trees which turned out to be blood from the leaves. After that, leaves and branches started shaking and snapping, then the dinosaur showed itself to be camouflaging nearby. Katashi tried to escape but the dinosaur snatched him.

Lee played the role of Andy Meltzer in the television series Grey’s Anatomy which aired in 2007. Andy and his friends, Dale Winick, Lonnie, and Jack Vaughan went hiking on Mount Rainier and a sudden storm hit making them stranded. When they were found, they were taken to Settle Grace Hospital to receive treatment. However Lonnie was still missing and when they told the story, they said that Lonnie died and they had no choice but to leave him. And broke several ribs and had a flail chest and required a surgery to stabilize his ribs.
