With the desire to spend more time with his children, he became an award-winning financial services representative and manager in the Raleigh area, representing national companies. This was while serving his board client base. He is happy to be back in his hometown where he provides FOX10 viewers with the news and information they need to know.
Prior to joining FOX10 News, Bryon worked at two major cable sports networks as the first main anchor, “Sports Time,” located in Cincinnati, and “SCORE” located in Los Angeles. While at the station he provided play-by-play of MLB games, and the World Baseball Championship from Italy. As well as hosted various “live” interview programs featuring sports personalities and players, fielding phone calls from fans across the country.
Before that, Bryon worked at NBC Sports in New York where he was serving the station as an anchor/reporter covering many of the biggest events for the top sports network. Among his memorable events include Wimbledon, ’82 where he was the first to broadcast from the historic “Standing Room Only” area at Center Court during matches. The memorable events also include The 1981 Freeze Bowl and AFC Championship Game between Cincinnati and San Diego where the wind chill during the game was minus-37 degrees. Moreover, he has also covered Superbowl 17, Major League Baseball Playoffs, and World Series. This is in addition to serving as an Anchor/Host of NBC’s award-winning Baseball Pre-Game Show. At that time, he was nominated for a Sports Emmy.

Previously, Day served as a morning anchor and reporter at WALA-TV. Earlier he worked at Raleigh where he was working as the main anchor for an NBC-owned and operated station there. While at the station, he was covering the Bosnian War and the Somali Civil War, and UN Intervention. Asides from that, he has traveled to China in order to help facilitate an exhibition of Chinese tomb treasures in the US. Moreover he also also reported on presidential campaigns and anchored coverage of several hurricanes during that time. This was while being recognized for his efforts. ”
After his graduation, he moved to Memphis and WHBQ-TV where he was continuing in the weather for one of the top stations in the country. Asides from that he was also the station’s initial host of PM Magazine, a 30-minute program highlighting fun, informative features from around the Memphis area and the country. In addition to that, he began his career working in Mobile where he was a staff announcer/weathercast for a local TV station while he was still attending the University of South Alabama. During his free time, he enjoys visiting Gulf beaches, working out, attending college football and baseball games, and traveling.
