Granda, later on, moved to New York in the year 1990 where he worked for WABC-TV. While here, he was a fill-in anchor for the Eyewitness News this Morning. Additionally, he was the first reporter on the scene and also on-air during the World Trade Center bombing.
In addition, he has covered Hurricane Andrews as it hit New Orleans and Miami. The ear 1993 saw him being hired by the WNBC in New York in order for him to be the station’s New Jersey correspondents. Later on the year 1995 saw him become an anchor for WFOR a CBS Affiliate station.
