He joined the station in January 2010 as a sports photojournalist. Onorato reported on Giants training camp during the 2010 summer, and he also produced and reported on High School Football Two-A-Days, a series of profiles of high school football team. He started focusing on the Saratoga Race Course in the summer of 2011, for a feature story series. In the series, he highlighted some of the traditions like the picnic tables race on Travers Saturday which make the forty days of racing special.

Before joining the station, he worked at ESPN Radio 104.5 as a host from October 2016 to 2020.
