Onorato currently works at NewsChannel 13 in Albany, New York as a sports anchor and reporter where he co-anchors NewsChannel 13 Today and Early Today alongside Faith King. He joined the station in January 2010 as a sports photojournalist. Onorato reported on Giants training camp during the 2010 summer, and he also produced and reported on High School Football Two-A-Days, a series of profiles of high school football team. He started focusing on the Saratoga Race Course in the summer of 2011, for a feature story series. In the series, he highlighted some of the traditions like the picnic tables race on Travers Saturday which make the forty days of racing special.
