Turner serves as the 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. newscast, M-F anchor at WISH-TV based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to this role, he also served as the fill-in anchor for evening and late newscasts as needed and co-moderated the 2024 WISH-TV Indiana Governor’s debate; which aired across the state. Before working at WISH-TV, he worked at WHBQ FOX13 based in Memphis, Tennessee where he served as an anchor and investigative reporter from October 2020 to October 2023. While at WHBQ-TV, he anchored weekend morning newscasts and often served as fill-in anchor for weekday morning show, 5 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Previously, from May 2017 to October 2019, he worked at FOX 32 based in Chicago, Illinois where he served as a general assignment reporter. During his tenure at FOX32, he reported live daily with two different stories for the 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts, regularly served as the lead reporter for the 9 p.m. newscasts, and delivered in a high-pressure environment, researching, producing, and shooting each story with a minimal amount of time.
Prior to working at FOX32, he worked at WMAR-TV ABC 2 based in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as a general assignment reporter from April 2015 to April 2017. He previously worked at WLTX-TV based in Columbia, South Carolina where he served as a reporter from March 2013 to April 2015. He had previously spent 7 months working at Good Day DePaul where he served as an anchor and reporter from September 2012 to March 2013.
While at WLTX-TV, he covered the 2012 presidential election on election night from President Obama’s election headquarters at Chicago’s McCormick Place. He also interviewed Illinois Governor Pat Quinn and senior Obama campaign representatives gaining pertinent information from inside the Obama campaign ahead of election results,
