Prior to working at News 12 since 2006, he previously served as a morning meteorologist for News12, Westchester. During his time there, he was responsible for all weather content for television and radio for the morning and daytime newscasts for Westchester County NY, and the surrounding Hudson Valley. Additionally, Dave provided voiceover weather reports for sister station Metro Traffic.
Before working for News12, he worked at WVOX Radio (Whitney Radio Network) as a meteorologist from February 2000 to May 2005. While there, he gave morning forecasts and bantered with the DJ about daily occurrences around the region. Previously, he served as a meteorologist at Metro Traffic and Weather for 5 years. During his time there, his responsibilities included producing weather graphics, and forecasting. He also provided weather support for sister station News12 the Bronx with weather forecasts and pictures for their morning show. Dave began his broadcasting career at UPN 9 News where he served as a weather producer for one year and six months. While there, he provided weekend and vacation relief for the Weather Producer.
