Prior to joining the station, Molen worked at NBC in Wichita Falls, Texas, United States as a morning news anchor from June 2016 to November 2017. While working there, he anchored the daily morning show on NBC from 5.30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and also produced and anchored the daily morning show on Fox from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. Before that, Molen worked at WTIU-TV in Bloomington, Indiana as a documentary reporter from February 2016 to May 2016.
