Dalman began his meteorology career as an intern at WLFI News 18 in the year 2016 – there he practiced live broadcasting, worked with chief meteorologists, and learned to build full forecasts.
In the year 2019, he served as a meteorologist for Purdue University’s Fast Track News, delivering weekly live weather segments, on-location forecasts, and weather updates for campus events. From November of the year 2019 to October of the year 2021, he worked full-time at Weatherology in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. There, he created and updated audio forecasts for radio stations nationwide, handled severe weather coverage, and worked with clients across the Central Plains and Midwest.
He also helped promote the Weatherology app and sent alerts during severe weather events. Dalman has also worked in radio in the Twin Cities – there he produced day-to-day weather forecasts for TV stations in the United States.
