He was an assistant to the President in charge of the White House Office of Political Affairs and the White House Office of INtergovenmental Affairs and deputy chief of staff during the Reagan administration.

The year 1984 saw him working as a manager for President Ronald Reagan’s reelection campaign where he won 49 of 50 states. Additionally, he was also managing President Reagan’s campaign where Mr. Rollins had major roles in 9 other Presidential campaigns.
