Galles works at KSTP 5 Eyewitness News as a news reporter. Prior to joining the KSTP, she worked for KMSP-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a news reporter for 6 years. Before working at KMSP-TV, Ellens worked for ABC 24 (Clear Channel Television) as a news/consumer reporter from October 1999 to June 2003. Earlier she worked for NewsChannel 7&4-Traverse City, Michigan as a news reporter for 1 year and 2 months before going to ABC 24. She began working on TV in Traverse City, Michigan, at WPBN-TV. She was like a whole team by herself. Then, she went to Memphis, Tennessee, and worked at WPTY for 4 years. While at WPTY, she reported on lots of different things and was also in charge of helping people with consumer stuff.
In the year 2003, Galles went to Minneapolis and worked at KMSP – FOX 9 for quite a few years. Furthermore, Ellen has been a member of an Emmy-winning coverage team. Aside from that, she has also been on big national TV channels a few times, like FOX News and CNN. One thing she will always remember is when she went to Rome, Italy, for 2 weeks to talk about the Pope’s funeral. In addition to that, she was with a group of important TV stations from FOX, and they made a special team for this.
