Emily Sutton is an American Meteorologist working with KFOR in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as the morning meteorologist at 4 a.m., 5 a.m., and 6 a.m. She has been working with this station since December 2009, as the first female meteorologist.

Sutton has been working at KFOR as the morning meteorologist since she joined the station in December 2009. She began working on air a few weeks before Oklahoma City’s largest snowstorm, Christmas Eve Blizzard. In addition, she received national recognition for her storm chasing from The Weather Channel, CNN, and MSNBC. She has profiled her storm-chasing experiences for The 6th Floor in August 2013 and The New York Times Magazine. Furthermore, the Popular Mechanics Magazine featured her for her storm chasing skills. Sutton began her love for weather at a young age and began working on her passion while she was at the University of Missouri. While she was at the University of Missouri, she saw her first tornado in 2004.
She began her career at KMIZ-TV in Columbia, Missouri in 2007, and not long after, she served as a general assignment reporter and meteorologist at WCYB-TV in the Tri-Cities/Bristol, Tennessee. While she worked at KMIZ-TV, she learned about the dynamics of mountain weather and sharpened her reporting skills. Over the years, she has been awarded Enid (Best of Enid), Best Meteorologist in OKC (So6ix Magazine), and Norman (Best of Norman) Besides weather. During her downtime, she enjoys race in triathlons for charity, cooking, traveling, and dancing.
Furthermore, together with Scott Hines, they crossed the finish line of their first IRONMAN triathlon including; 112 mile bike, 2.4-mile swim, and 26.2-mile run on November 16, 2014. They also lead TEAM OKLAHOMA that raised $200,000 for The Go Mitch Go Foundation. Go Mitch Go Foundation is a non-profitable group that raises money for lymphoma and leukemia research.
