On May 16, 2015, he worked on the biggest tornado outbreak where nearly a dozen tornadoes were covered in the area for example a mile-wide EF-3 tornado. For five continuous hours, he stayed on the air warning viewers of the dangerous storms. He finds coming home from his first day of kindergarten to his mom putting tape on windows most memorable.
He got an opportunity to join the University of Oklahoma where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Broadcast Journalism. Jeansonne worked at KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas for four years before joining WLOX. There he reported everything from tornado outbreaks to winter storms. During his free time, he loves watching movies with his cat, Ciro, and relaxing.
