Morgan attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2015. She studied Journalism and Electronic Media and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the year 2017. Morgan currently works at WCBD News 2 in the role of an anchor and reporter. She began working in that role in March 2022 and anchors Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. newscast. She is also part of the Investigators team. Prior to joining the station, Morgan worked at WMC Action News 5 in Memphis, Tennessee as an anchor and reporter. Before joining WMC, Morgan worked at WMBB News 13 in Panama City, Florida Area as a morning reporter, anchor, and producer from May 2017 to June 2019. When she joined the station, she started as a dayside reporter and later moved to mornings after one year. Morgan was among those who covered Hurricane Michael before, during, and after it happened. This hurricane was a category -5 historic hurricane that caused damage to the Florida Panhandle.
Prior to working at WMBB, Morgan was a visual storyteller at WBIR Channel 10 in Knoxville, Tennessee Area. She worked there for a period of one year, that is from May 2016 to May 2017. She started off as an intern then later she was promoted to a part-time employee working as a photographer and editor. Morgan has the desire to make a difference. She is always proud of herself for being open-minded in all the stories that she covers and also loves interacting with different communities and sharing stories that mostly matter to the ones living there.
