Tuttle’s broadcasting journey began in Des Moines, Iowa, where he started covering high school football and basketball as a sophomore in high school. His early passion for sports journalism led him to host a morning sports radio show on FM 88.9.
Before joining WAFB-TV, Tuttle worked for Cronkite News, the student-run news division of Arizona PBS, where he served as a broadcast sports reporter for nearly two years. He also created segments for Cronkite News, reporting on major Valley events like The Final Four and the WM Phoenix Open. This role allowed him to gain on-camera presence and reporting skills while covering collegiate and professional sports stories across Arizona. Occasionally, his work on these high-profile assignments helped him earn placement on the Sportscaster Talent Agency of America’s Jim Nantz Award twice. Before this role, Tuttle had interned at KCCI-TV from June 2023 to August 2023.
