While there, she covered city council and school board meetings and did everyday radio newscasts. Eva also took a job as a bureau reporter for WDTV in West Virginia, covering the Morgantown area.
From there, she drove back to Buckeye State for a reporter/ anchor job at WMFD, a cable station in Mansfield, OH. After that, she got a job in Youngstown at WYTV where she served as producer, anchor, and reporter before and after the station joined WKBN and FOX Youngstown. While there, Eva filed feature and breaking news reports, interviewed superstars who came to town, and even anchored from Nashville, TN, for the Country Music Awards. Eva left Youngstown to accept a job in Wilkes-Barre, PA as a morning anchor and reporter, then transferred to the Lake Erie Region to join the Erie News Now team.
