Evan Stewart is a senior meteorologist and the Director of weather Content for 13News Now and 13 Newsnow.com. He joined the station in 1995 and serves a a weekday meteorologist forecasting at 4PM. He is a member of both American Society and the National Weather Association, he also holds the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation. During his career at 13NewsNow, Evan has seen all the strange weather of Hampton Roads has to offer. These include Hurricanes, Blizzards, nor’easters and Tornadoes. Behind the scenes Evan works as the director of weather content. He is a computer Specialist charged with the design and upkeep all the technology in the 13NewsNow weather center and the storm chasing vehicle.
Evan is a graduate of North Carolina State University and has a bachelor Science in Meteorology and a Minor in Communication. He loves college football especially when NC State beats UNC.
