A long-time supporter and volunteer of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Frances met a young lady named Sammie who was a Wish Kid turned ambassador assisting other kids and raising money in the fight against cancer. Sadly, Sammie’s cancer returned, and she died shortly after graduating high school. Her final request was to raise enough cash to grant another kid’s wish. They raised over $165,000, which set a national record in the Foundation’s history. Frances enjoys spending time with family and friends and trying out new restaurants when she is not on the news.
