While in San Diego she covered the PGA Farmers Insurance Open and one season of high school football. In Idaho, she worked for four years working her way up from a multimedia journalist to a morning weather anchor. For the past two years, Frankie embraced her passion for meteorology and turned to it full-time. Snow, Rain, or shine Frankie assisted Idahoans plan out their days accordingly making sure they knew what to expect (and pack) all over the valleys and mountains.
In Idaho, she earned a few awards for her work as a journalist. Some of her favorite stories include supporting lawmakers in reforming animal cruelty laws across the state and assisting free an Idaho man who was wrongfully imprisoned overseas. A graduate of the Dominican University of California in 2015, Frankie also received a tennis scholarship to Dominican, an NCAA DII program.
Born in the Evergreen State, Frankie was raised in Southern California but consistently hoped to make her return to the Pacific Northwest and she is so glad she made it. On her days off you can catch Frankie and her dogs, Nika and Bandit, around Western Washington… and yes she’s a big Seahawks, Kraken, Mariners, and… UDub lover (Go Dawgs!)
