While in Beaumont, she broadcast college, local, and national sports for more than three years. She also covered Hurricane Harvey in 2017, sparking her interest in news.
Healy relocated to Champaign, Illinois, as a morning news anchor for KHQA in April 2020. She enjoyed beginning the community’s day with crucial details before heading out the door and connecting with the community through her work. After a year of being in the Midwest cold, she decided to return back south.
Healy was a lifestyle show host and a sideline reporter for high school football at Local15 | WPMI-TV in Mobile, Alabama, after working in Illinois.
