Throughout her time at the station, she has worked on big stories such as the Surfside collapse, the historic flooding in Fort Lauderdale in 2023, and the Parkland shooter verdict and sentencing. During the pandemic, Davis was one of the few journalists who reported physically on the TV station.
Prior to joining the station, Davis worked at WDBJ7 in Roanoke, Virginia as an anchor and reporter from November 2010 to January 2014. While working at the station, she co-anchored the 11 p.m. newscast during weekdays, which is the market’s number one. She also helped grow the 11 p.m. ratings in households from 6.8 in May 2010 to 8.4 in May 2012. She was also the co-producer of the 10 p.m. and 11p .m. newscasts.
