Before CNN, she worked at WEHT-TV in Evansville, IN, WHO-TV in Des Moines, and at KCAU-TV in Sioux City, IA.
Jacqui is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, a distinction she acquired through the American Meteorological Society. She also holds a Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association where she has served as a Recertification Chair and Councilor. Jacqui presently mentors students. She graduated from Iowa State University and in 2006, she was honored with “Outstanding Young Alumnus” from her Alma Mater. Jacqui was raised in the Midwest with roots in Wisconsin and Minnesota where she became fascinated with all types of weather, but of course, loves a good snowstorm the most!
