Philadelphia native, Jade grew up with a love for writing and reading. She attended college and during her time there, she played on the club volleyball team, was an avid associate of the school’s student-run television news program, Temple Update, and spent a semester in London.

After graduating from college, Jade began her journalism career behind the scenes as an intern and web producer at FOX 29 in Philadelphia. Then, she transferred upstate to FOX 56 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where she served as a multimedia journalist. While in northeastern Pennsylvania, she reported on major events including a series of historic storms and flooding that affected the region in 2018 and an EF-2 tornado that tore through a popular shopping plaza.

Before coming to the WPBF 25 News team, Jade worked for three years as a general assignment reporter at WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, she centered on strong community reporting along with covering everyday news events. She also developed an interest in telling stories focused on education, small businesses, and racial equity. Apart from this, Jade is part of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Jade has earned many Emmy nominations for her storytelling, including one for her job on the station’s “We’re Open! Northeast Ohio” series where she revealed stories about local businesses persevering during the COVID-19 pandemic.
