Prior to joining WFTS, he was in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, working for a CBS/MyNetworkTV/CW-affiliated television station, WHP-TV, as the News Anchor. While there, he created the weekly series “CBS 21 House Calls” as a way to assist individuals with common household issues.
James began his TV career in Winchester, Virginia, where he worked at TV3 Winchester, holding the position of Sports Anchor/Reporter. He then went to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to anchor sports for a Fox-affiliated television station, KOKI-TV. In addition to that, he loves all things sports, and as a new resident of Tamp Bay. He is already happy to transfer his loyalty to the Rays, Bolts, and Bucs. For him, it has been an honor to host many local and fund-raising events. Being a pet parent to his rescue dog, Dusty, there’s a special place in his heart for the efforts of Tampa Bay’s Pet and Animal Rescue organizations.
