Prior to that, Castle worked as a Meteorologist at WAFF 48 in Huntsville, Alabama for 12 years (from July 2002 to June 2014). Earlier in their career, Castle held the Meteorologist role at KOCO 5 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – this was from June 1998 to June 2002. Before that, he worked at KFDA – NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, Texas, as a Meteorologist (from April 1996 to June 1998). That day, North Alabama saw 3 powerful EF-5 tornadoes and over 90 tornado warnings. Castle played a key role in providing nonstop coverage – he shared vital updates to keep people safe during the storm.
He says that that experience strengthened his belief that his most important job is giving life-saving information during dangerous weather. Castle also says that he is fully dedicated to keeping people’s families safe, both online and on TV.
