Prior to joining WSVN-TV, he was working at NBC2 where he covered some stories impacting the community, including President Barack Obama’s first trip to the Florida Everglades in 2015, Lee County Government’s handling of taxpayer-funded VR Labs, and along with student and faculty unrest at Edison State College. before he worked as a reporter for CNY Central in Syracuse, New York from May 2008 to October 2016. Previously he served as a Freelance reporter at WZBN-TV 25 from December 2007 to April 2008. Roetz came to WZBN25 from FOX 29 WTXF as an assignment Editor/ Production Assistant from May 2007 to April 2008 in Philadelphia, PA.
