Eads serves as a weekday sports anchor and reporter at WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he covers local and collegiate athletics, including LSU and Southern University. In addition to his role, he serves as both a fill-in anchor for sports and a regular anchor for 9 News This Morning at 7 a.m. on Sundays. Eads joined the station in July 2023 as a sports reporter and news anchor, a position he held until October 2023. His on-air presence and storytelling skills led to his promotion to serve as a weekday sports anchor and reporter in October of the same year. He’s very thrilled to make the move to SEC territory and cover all the sports in Baton Rouge and beyond.

Notably, Eads began his broadcasting career while still a student at Syracuse University. He co-hosted On the Bench, a weekly 30-minute sports show on CitrusTV from August 2022 to April 2023. During his time at Syracuse, he also contributed as a staff writer for Orange Fizz, a radio broadcaster for WAER FM, and a staff member at WJPZ Radio and WAER Sports Talk.

In addition to his campus media work, Eads served as a sports intern at NewsChannel 9 WSYR in Syracuse, New York. His time at Central New York was marked by a great achievement, where he earned one of six first-team All-American nominations from the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.
