Williams also covered major weather events like Hurricane Helene, and gained experience reporting on severe storms and winter weather. He became skilled in using WSI Max weather graphics software to present weather information clearly. Earlier in his career, Williams worked as a full-time detailer at Advanced Collision Inc. (this was from May to August 2023). In that role, Williams checked the quality of paint and body repairs on vehicles and improved his time management skills by preparing cars on schedule for customer pickup.
