Kim ‘Bo’ Bokamper commenced his career with the Miami Dolphins in 1976 as a first-round draft pick. Over a 10-year career with the Dolphins, he played both defensive end and linebacker, earning Pro Bowl recognition in 1980 as a linebacker. During that time, the Dolphins played in 2 Super Bowls and 3 AFC championship games. Kim retired in 1985 from the NFL.
In 1990, he commenced a career in broadcasting, doing sports for WIOD radio as part of the Dolphins pregame and postgame shows. Eventually, he commenced hosting frequent sports talk shows on a variety of timeslots. Later, Kim relocated to another radio station where he continued to take part in Dolphin programming in addition to being a talk show host.
A successful consultant and businessman, Bokamper donates his time to a number of charitable organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Association, the American Cancer Association, the United Way, and the Special Olympics. He’s also operated as president of both the Miami Dolphins Alumni association and the Miami Chapter of the NFL Alumni Association.
