He began his career at NBC 6 where he worked as an intern for over 20 years ago, and also worked as a morning anchor and consumer investigator for the past seven years in Boston, MA. Anderson believes that everyone has a story to tell and loves that his job as a journalist allows him to help people tell theirs.
When “7News Today in New England” won the “Most Outstanding Morning Newscast” award, and another Emmy award in 2019 for “Outstanding Team Reporting ”Anderson earned Emmy awards for his anchor work in 2020 and again in 2021. Later on, he switched to WREG in Memphis, TN in 2004 where she worked as the weekday morning anchor, where he led the #1 rated “Daybreak” newscast, and worked as the station’s consumer investigator.
