Previously, she worked at a station in the Lynchburg/Roanoke, Virginia, market where she covered lead and top stories each night for the station’s evening newscasts. She would often travel to Richmond where she reported the General Assembly’s sessions and special sessions and the inauguration of Virginia’s governor.
Kristen interned with two local stations in Central and Western New York and also had internships with network news organizations. In the spring of 2019, she interned in the company’s Los Angeles bureau with ABC Network News. She also served and covered the 91st Academy Awards in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre. Afterward that summer, she interned with NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and would help Holt on some shoots that would premiere in the evening broadcast. In early 2020, Kristen worked with CNN to help report the New Hampshire primary. When she’s not reporting, Kristen loves consuming time with her close friends and family, working out, cooking, and of course trying all of the good eats in Buffalo.
