Her occupation started in Medford, Oregon, where she served as the weekend news and weather anchor and weekday multimedia journalist at KTVL News 10, the CBS affiliate for four years, covering northern California and southern Oregon. While at KTVL, she earned an Associated Press Award for Best Weathercast and another for Best Continuing Coverage.
Krystle developed a love for the weather while finishing up her degree at ASU. She did weathercasts for Cronkite Newswatch and desired to know more about the science behind it, so she carried on her education at Mississippi State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology.
Krystle has also acted on the NATAS Rocky Mountain Board of Governors since 2018 and its Foundation since its invention in 2019. She now operates as the Membership & Outreach Chair. Krystle was inspired to join the board following the hosting of the Student Production Awards in 2017. She hosted every year since and she is committed and sincere about supporting the next generation of meteorologists and journalists.
