Based in Brussels, Belgium her career concentrated largely around the European Union. Lauren also Interviewed members of Parliament, and covered trade relations, Brexit, and the unsettling aftermath of three suicide bombings.
Her next stop was the cornfields of Des Moines where she anchored and reported for KCCI-TV. While at the CBS affiliate, Donovan earned an Emmy nomination and an Iowa Broadcasting Association honor for her tornado coverage. Beyond the Doppler, she reported on the Iowa caucuses and the dozens of political candidates who visited the state contesting for a Presidential nomination. That included their own Governor, Jay Inslee. When she’s not on the air you can find this hop-head sampling IPAs, grooving out to her parents’ music (Fleetwood CCR and Mac are her favorites) and *trying* to take her cat Darcy on hikes.
