She kickstarted her career while working as a news intern for a cable station located in Palmdale before she quickly transitioned into working as a general assignment reporter.

The aftermath of this Hurricane led to her filing reports on the Gulf oil spill from Louisiana where she had earned a Lone Star Emmy Award fr hr series, “First Eyes on the Black Tide.”
Juarez is very happy to be back in California and to be reporting in her hometown. Additionally, she enjoys trying out new restaurants around town, traveling, and cooking up her mother’s enchiladas.
