Before joining NBC4, Lopez had a successful, 10-year-long occupation at WPIX-TV in New York, where she was a general assignment reporter and, afterward, a sports anchor. She was appointed the main sports anchor and a field reporter for the NY Mets, working beside the late great Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver. Earlier in her profession, she was one of two reporters on Court TV’s issue-oriented legal program “Pros and Cons” beside Nancy Grace.
