This is in addition to traveling to Spain and Italy and also spending time on a warship and aircraft carrier. This was as she was interviewing the Oklahomans who rescued Captain Scott O’Grady after he was shot down over Bosnia.
Later on, she went to London to ride with Bobbies on the beat to see how officers there do police work without guns. She was also later sent to Denver for nearly a year to cover the OKC bombing trials of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. Afterward, she covered McVeigh’s execution. Fullbright went to St. Lucia to cover officers hunting for marijuana in the mountains and went to Atlanta to cover the bombing at the summer Olympics. Prior to joining News on 6, she was serving KSPR-TV located in Springfield, Missouri, KOMU-TV located in Columbia, Missouri, and KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri.

The year 2020 saw her being selected as an honoree in the 50th Annual Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame. Additionally, she is also a two-time Emmy award winner. She won one Emmy for her coverage of a house fire that killed five people and the other was for her coverage of a Tulsa police officer shot and killed in the line of duty. Among other awards she has won include a Newsie by the Tulsa Press Club for a favorite reporter in the year 2013 and a best investigative piece awarded by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters in the year 2008.
Through her career, she has also won an SPJ award for investigative reporting in the year 2008 and the Tulsa Police Department Citizen’s Appreciation Award in the year 2005. She also won Tulsa’s Gamma Rho Status of Women honor in the year 2005.
