Lyndsey Gough is an American sports director working at WTOC in Savannah, Georgia where she serves the station as the Sports Director. She has been working with the WTOC team since February 2019, when she first joined the station as a weekend sports anchor.

In 2015, she graduated from the University of Kentuck with a broadcast degree in Journalism.
In addition, she began her career at WTOC’s sister station in Bowling Green, Kentucky where she served as a multi-media journalist. She was promoted to serving as an anchor for the weekend newscast and producer. She also started a franchise for the Sports Connection show known as, Beyond The Game. Furthermore, while she was still studying at the University of Kentucky, she had many internships inclusive of two internships in ESPN and working for the athletic department during her senior year. Gough is an Alpha Omicron Pi alumna.
Over the years, she has covered; a Heisman Trophy winner, bowl games, two Kentucky Derbies, state championships, and many NCAA Tournament berths. She enjoys watching any level of sports and is looking forward to getting to know the people of South Carolina and Georgia. During her downtime, she enjoys antique shopping, spending time with her dog (Scout), binge-watching Netflix, cheering on her favorite teams, and exploring the city.

She also shared a post on her Instagram page On July 15, 2020, that stated that in June 20, 2020, she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and added that battling the disease was not easy, however, she had a positive mindset and had faith that she was going to defeat the disease. In addition, she is an advocate for people to get vaccinated for this is a great way of showing love to others.
