Marc Santia is an Emmy Award winning Journalist who reports on criminal justice, security and general assignment issues for NBC 4 New York. He joined NBC 4 New York in July 2012 as a general assignment reporter and works regularly on weekdays at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
Marc has covered many memorable stories including the Empire state shooting. His key reporting was a key component of the NBC 4 New York award wining COVID-19 coverage that was honoured in January 2021.
Before joining NBC 4 New York Marc worked at WDIV-TV in Detroit , here he began his career as an Intern. He has covered the investigation, arrest, trial and sentencing of former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
