Greaves was a running back and played for 4 years but injuries made him miss his final season and retire from the game. He began his journalism career at NBC Sports in Portland, Oregon Area as an intern from August 2017 to April 2018. He also interned at Entercom in December 2017.
Marcus then moved to 247 Sports as a sports reporter. While in the station he became the host alongside Angie Machado & Adam Nicholson. The trio broke down everything around Oregon State athletics from recruiting to game breakdowns. He then moved to KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon where he served as a sports contributor from July 2019 to August 2021. This was prior to joining KFMB-TV.
