After her moving from Fort Myers, Florida, she began by working as a substitute teacher in Pattonville School District which was while playing professional basketball for the St. Louis Surge. While trying to apply for a career path that was suitable to her strengths and abilities, she applied for a full-time position with KPLR/KTVI. However. with little experience in the journalism and reporting world, her application got turned down. She then decided to take advantage of an internship opportunity at the station. Three months later after her hard work and dedication in growing in the field, she was able to gain a role as a full-time reporter.
Away from work, she enjoys traveling, writing poetry, exploring, reading a good book, spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and visiting the gyms to keep fit. She is also deeply rooted in the community and loves the St. Louis area. In addition, she is passionate about places, people, and the stories that make the town very special.
